The Raven read by Neil Gaiman.
It’s nearly Christmas, so how about hearing The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, as read by fantasy author Neil Gaiman?
Neil even lit a whole lot of candles and put on a coat worn by one of the dead brothers from the Stardust movie. Now, that’s class.
For those who don’t know the work, The Raven is a narrative poem by Edgar Allan Poe. This supernatural poem tells of a talking raven’s mysterious visit to a distraught lover, tracing the man’s slow fall into madness. The lover, often identified as being a student, is lamenting the loss of his love, Lenore.
